League Information

Portage Youth Baseball serves area boys and girls ages 4-12 with the opportunity to learn the sport of baseball and compete in an in-house league with 4 divisions determined by age. PYB also provides tournament team opportunities for those individuals that want a more competitive experience and travel to weekend tournaments. Our league will generally consist of 2 games a week Monday - Thursday at 5:00 or 6:30pm. Fridays will be days for make up games if we have to cancel any weeknight due to rain. Each team will have 1 to 2 practices per week. Practice days and times are set by each team coach. Games begin May 11th and the season ending tournament is June 28-30 in which all teams will play. 

Important BAT INFORMATION

Little League Adopts USA Bat Standard.
Starting in 2018, Coach Pitch, Minors, and Majors players are ONLY allowed to use a wood bat OR any 2 5/8" or smaller barrel bat that has the USA Baseball Certification Mark. Do not get confused by the USSSA certification mark. You do not want to get a bat that has the USSSA Certification Mark. These are not legal for Little League 2018.
