Portage Youth Baseball (PYB) is a baseball program focused on area youth ages 5-13. We are a non-profit organization looking to give the Portage youth a place to play baseball. With the support of the City of Portage (WI), we have been able to build a great facility that we continue to improve year after year to make the program better for future generations. The City of Portage, the Portage Parks and Recreation Department, and the great sponsors we have had over the years have allowed us to add a new baseball field, new dugouts, and rehab the existing fields. Our coaches are all volunteer and we could not run such a great program without their continued support. Our umpires are generally the future baseball players of Portage as they learn all aspects of the game. Our Board of Directors are all volunteer and put countless hours of personal time into the program as well as sponsoring future growth through their locally owned businesses.
The four (4) divisions within PYB include: T-Ball, Coach Pitch, Minors, and Majors. We are also working on hosting tournaments (more info to come in the future).
Although we do not have tournament teams through Portage Youth Baseball, we fully support them and their mission to take Portage Youth Baseball players to a more competitive environment. We will help any coach(es) that would like to create tournament teams get started as well as show them a good direction to head. If you are looking to run a tournament team or are looking to join one, please contact us and we will pass the info along and/or help where we can. More information on tournament team opportunities is available here.
Thank you for all the support, Portage Youth Baseball Board of Directors.
